About us

Aishwarya

Aishwarya is a  first year international business student, trying to find her niche in Singapore. Before this course, she was not very interested in technological innovations, but she has started thinking differently. Aishwarya is really interested in biotechnology and the tremendous potential it holds! Do email her if you wish to further discuss the exciting fields above.

Grace Tay

A third year undergraduate at the School of Law, Grace’s life revolves around
food and fitness. She believes in living life to the fullest and would love to
backpack around the world someday. She is also an avid reader and can spend hours immersed in the world of poetry.
Grace appreciates how Technology and World Change has given her a broader perspective on various issues ranging from ICT to energy use. She feels that indeed, sustainability is the model for the future and that with political will and close cooperation between international stakeholders on a global scale, 100% sustainability is an achievable target.

Joseph Tan

Joseph is just a run-of-the-mill average Joe except for his curious nature which brings him to try out new things whenever possible. Solution to energy shortage? Conservation of energy by doing nothing! Favourite clean energy source : Nuclear power. It’s his favourite because it is controversial and the centre of much debate. Joseph is a proponent of any controversial technology!

Tay Yuan Quan

Yuan Quan is a first year student at Singapore Management University and am currently undergoing the bachelor of business management course. He is a keen believer in making clean energy widely adopted and am glad that this TWC class provides so much information to it. Sustainability is a must in order to ensure that we do not jeopardize the environment of our future generation.

Through the course, Yuan Quan has greatly broadened his perspectives about things and gained invaluable knowledge.

Zheng TianBai

Tianbai is a year one business student. He likes to surround himself with
books, ever willing and eager to learn about new stuff, interesting stuff on
almost everything, anything. Coming to university exposed him to a very
steep learning curve and the heavy workload that comes with it. All he
wishes to do now is to get back to his books.
Technology and World Change has introduced him to a new historical
perspective on technological advancements: The good and the bad. He
learned that there are always two sides to a coin. While he is sometimes
skeptical about technological advancement sometimes, he recognizes the
tremendous benefits it brings.
